Terms of use
These terms cover the Vowly iPhone app, the guest pages it creates and this website. Vowly is operated by Chris Richards. By using Vowly you agree to them.
The service
Vowly helps you plan a wedding or engagement party: guests, RSVPs, budget, tasks and pages your guests can open from a private link.
Your account
You sign in with Apple. Keep your Apple account secure; you’re responsible for what happens under your account, including what collaborators you invite can see and do.
Your guests’ details
Your guest list contains other people’s personal information. Only add details you’re allowed to use for planning your event, keep them accurate, and share guest links only with the household they belong to.
You keep ownership of everything you add. You let us store and process it only to run Vowly for you, as described in our privacy policy.
Acceptable use
- Don’t use Vowly to send spam or to contact people who haven’t been invited to your event.
- Don’t upload anything unlawful, or photos and videos you don’t have the right to share.
- Don’t try to break, overload or get around the security of the app or guest pages.
The Wedding Pass
- Planning is free. A Wedding Pass is a one-off in-app purchase for one wedding, and covers everyone on that wedding and its linked engagement party. It is not a subscription.
- Purchases are made through Apple and its terms apply. Prices are shown in the App Store in your currency, including any taxes.
- Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Features marked “coming soon” are not part of what you’re buying until they ship.
Consumer law
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded, including the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
Changes to Vowly
We improve Vowly over time and may change or remove features. We won’t take away what a Wedding Pass you’ve bought unlocks for that wedding without a fair remedy. If we change these terms in a significant way, we’ll tell you in the app before the change applies.
Ending
You can stop using Vowly at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put guests or the service at risk, and will tell you why where we can.
Liability
Vowly is a planning tool: double-check important numbers and dates with your suppliers. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the Wedding Pass for the affected wedding.
Apple
If you got Vowly from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple has no responsibility for Vowly or its support.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
