Frequently asked questions
Is Vowly a subscription?
No. Planning is free. When you’re ready to share guest pages, a Wedding Pass is one payment per wedding, with nothing to cancel.
Does my partner pay too?
No. One Wedding Pass covers everyone on the wedding: you, your partner and every collaborator you invite. A linked engagement party is covered too.
How do refunds work?
Purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are too: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Your consumer rights, including the Australian Consumer Law if you’re in Australia, apply.
Do my guests need the app?
No. Each household gets its own private link. Guests open it on any phone or computer and reply without an app, an account or a password.
Does Vowly message my guests?
Not on its own. You share each household’s link however you usually talk to them. If you choose to email save the dates from the app, we send those emails for you, and nothing else.
Can I plan our engagement party too?
Yes. Create it as its own event in Vowly, with its own guests, budget and tasks, and link it to your wedding so your Wedding Pass covers both.
Is Vowly on Android, iPad or the web?
Not yet. Vowly is an iPhone app for now. Your guests can reply from any device.
Is there a seating chart?
Not yet. Guests, RSVPs, budget, tasks and guest pages come first.
Which currency does Vowly use?
The one you choose for your wedding when you set it up, so your budget is in your own currency wherever you’re getting married.
I’m a guest. How do I change my reply?
Open the link from your invitation again and choose Edit your reply, until the couple’s RSVP deadline. After that, contact the couple.
I’m a guest. How do I correct or remove my details?
Ask the couple, who manage their guest list. You can also email us and we’ll help.
